The CHB 36’ is ideal for cruising in any waters. For the Pacific Northwest it offers covered walk around decks, a partially covered cockpit and excellent steering visibility from inside. In the summer or in warmer climates the aft cockpit or expansive upper deck make excellent places to enjoy the open ocean air.
The CHB 36’ is based on the same well proven semi/full displacement hull that gave CHB its excellent reputation for its sea keeping abilities. At the aft end the hard chines give the boat good stability then the hull works into a deep V. Powered with a reliable Yanmar LHA 160 the CHB 36’ cruises at a comfortable 8 kts while burning 3 GPH, 2.5 miles to the gallon. At a more economical 7 kts you will burn 2 GPH or go 3.5 miles to the gallon
