One of the most frequently asked questions we hear is "What's the catch?"

Our answer is simple...THERE IS NO CATCH. CHB Yachts are well built by
skilled engineers. Our yachts have thick, solid, hand-laid hulls and the
superstructure has NIDA cored decks. We use heavy duty 316 stainless steel
(1.25" railings). The wiring is nicely laid out and is all tinned. Our
equipment is all brand name including Yanmar, Hurth, Morse engine
controls, Hynautic steering, Vetus windlasses and thrusters, Princess stoves,
Norcold refrigerators, Jabsco toilets, American Standard, Shurflo pumps,
Blue Sea electrical panels, Lewmar hatches, Perko latches, Force 10 water
heaters and much more. Our yachts are built to the American Boat and
Yacht Council's (ABYC) standards. We use time consuming 'made by hand'
techniques when laying-up the fiberglass or crafting the interior with real
teak wood. This yacht is built to satisfy demanding boaters.

How can we offer these yachts at this unbeatable price?

We are able to offer CHB Yachts without compromising quality, at unbeatable
prices for a number of reasons. Rather than trying to cut the material costs
of production we concentrate on keeping our marketing and overhead costs
low and passing on the savings to our customers. We do not work with
distributors and dealers which add a great deal to the cost of most new
yachts. We are the sole distributor for the CHB in North America. Our goal is
to build a high number of CHB and North Pacific Yachts, attempting to spread
our very low overhead costs out over many boats rather than just a few per
year. Finally, CHB Yachts are built in China. The Chinese workforce is highly
skilled and can build quality yachts with excellent attention to detail. This
quality simply can't be made for the same cost in most other countries and
we pass on the savings to our customers.

How do we ensure the yachts meet our standards?

The factory employees are very conscientious and have worked hard to
continuously improve the quality and quality control of the yachts. We also
have a full time inspector in China. Our quality inspector is English born, but
has been living in Asia working on yachts, including many top brands for over
30 years.
